Yes, you need to ensure that the server can function as an FTP and HTTP server to be able to host and retrieve the podcasts. There are free software titles that will enable you to do this, like Filezilla FTP server and Apache HTTP server. You can also use these software titles to host the podcasts on the same pc Podium is running from.

You can specify the first part of the name (podcastname) by using the Podcast Author field in Podium. You cannot modify the second part of the name which forms the date/time that the podcast was published. The RSS feed names have to remain unique to avoid podcasts been overwritten by podcasts that specify the same name.

How many episodes can I save in a project file?

Theoretically you can save as many episodes in a project as you like but as the project gains more episodes its size will obviously increase and therefore its load time will increase. If the load time gets to a point where you feel the project is unusable then we would suggest starting a new podcast and labelling it part 2 or alike and proceeding in this fashion. This would obviously mean that the users will need to be given the new RSS feed for part 2.

Can I insert titles and pictures at certain points like at the beginning of chapters?

No, unfortunately Podium cannot create enhanced podcasts and it is uncertain as to whether we will include support for this in the future, it is certainly a suggestion that has been put forward to us so we will have to wait and see.
