Brand NEW Podium with video is now available meaning you and your pupils can create, edit, publish and promote both audio and video podcasts, quickly and easily all from the same simple interface, allowing more flexibility than ever before!
Now that Podium supports video, you can enrich your podcasts by adding video or a series of images to a dedicated video track. Populate your video track by importing an existing video or image file or create anew one by recording directly onto the track using Podium’s built-in videocapture feature.

Suitable for any subject, students can create podcasts about anything at all, from Geography field trip reports to scientific experiment results to a recording of Shakespeare! Podcasting allows students to display and extend their creativity and can help to improve speaking and listening skills.
With new Podium you can now:
- Make a video podcast
- Make a visual podcast with sounds and images
- Make an audio podcast
- Make a script
Key features include:
 Quick start menu – On starting new Podium a quick start menu will pop up containing options for how you wish to use the software. These will help to configure the tabs within Podium to suit your needs for that session.
Timeline – A timeline has now been introduced to help you see how long your podcast is. You can zoom in and out of the podcast with the timeline reflecting the part you are viewing.
Video track – You can now add a video track to your podcasts to sit alongside the multiple audio tracks already available. Podium supports the following video and image files: avi, mp4, jpg, bmp and png
Video capture tool – If you have a webcam you can create instant video or images to use in your podcasts!
Preview your podcast – The new playback window now enables you to preview all your tracks together.
Publishing options – You can choose to publish your podcasts as video files or audio files, or both. You can also choose which episodes get published each time, giving you the flexibility to react to a range of audiences.
